Elnorra's such a big girl. She made us dinner all by herself-Peanut butter and jelly. Thanks a million, mom and dad had collapsed and really needed food!

Mexico "over-the-border" trip with Uncle Joe. forgot our passports, even though we have them and there has been such media attention about needeing them to walk across the border now. Fortunatly they let us back in anyway. Now I carry them with me just in case. (Living just a 45 minute drive north of the border it's actually probable that we will "just happen" to go.)

Dilly's First Birthday! We went out to breakfast with Grandee. She was given a little baby doll and can give such cute hugs to all, especially the little dolly!

Happy Dilly, Silly Sleeping Dilly

16 March 2008

The girls love to help clean out the dishwasher.
Small victories!

Dilly is learning to blow her nose! She's really tring to figure out how to imitate mom and Elnorra when we say "blow", half the tme she blows through her mouth, but I expect she's going to figure it out before she's 1 in a few weeks!

Fashion Statement!

Elnorra is usually good about picking her own clothes (especially for a 3.1 year old), but today she was so cute in the odd way. She wore a heavy Christmas colored sweater and a lightweight "skort" type short set in Spring pastels! Each time she used the potty the short/skirt got turned around. It's on backwards in these pictures. At least she got dressed today, unlike yesterday when she wouldn't pick out her own clothes and mom and Dilly were to sick to dress her, she ran around in PJ's or undies only!

Dilly's now 11 months old, and apparently small as she is ranked 13% for her age. She is often very smiley and loves to play peek-a-boo. Her hair is beginning to look red enough to count (yea!) and she loves to stand. She's been "cruising" along furniture and pulling up on anything that she can reach for months, but still isn't really interested in walking. She has that same power scoot/crawl that Elnorra did. She still has only the two teeth that came in at 7 months.

The coolest high chair I have ever seen, especially in a restaurant. A standard high chair, a school table and a rocking "ship". Very clever, I want one!

Happy 3rd birthday Elnorra! She turned 3 on Tuesday the 4th of Feb but we had a tea party on Saturday the 9th. Her guests were "friend Eryn" and mom, Judy McClellan, Aunt Emily, Cousin Kelsey and Grandee.

Dilly snoozin' in the wagon on our walk. She was so adorable, though the picture doesn't do the moment justice.

Dilly's calm down song. "The Wheels On the Bus." No matter how mad she is in the car we can sing this till we are hoarse the instant we stop there she goes crying again.

Christmas Eve, cute Dilly's 1st Christmas, Elnorra's first earache-it was awful and even ruptured on Christmas day. Poor girl.

You Turn
Elnorra came to me with a "Little People" in a tricycle and was trying to tell me it was my turn to drive, not reffering to the U-turns she was doing on my leg with the tricycle at the time. Ah the joys of English!
